Our fall deco mesh wreath class was so much fun yesterday afternoon! We had a great group of ladies that caught on quickly and made some gorgeous wreaths for their home. Here are some pictures of all the action!
I was asked to design flowers for a lovely country wedding in early August. The bride chose navy blue and white for her colors. The white daisies and wheat looked perfect together for this outdoor ceremony. My sister, Jean, captured these beautiful photos of the event.
It was a gorgeous evening to kick off the first fall floral arranging class of the season. My father's hand-made wooden boxes made the arrangements look extra special and are definitely one of a kind! Some ladies designed with silk flowers, and others chose to make their boxes with fresh flowers. As always, it was a lot of fun!
What could be more fun for a group of little girls than a birthday party with dainty tea cups, porcelain dolls, tiny tables and chairs, cupcakes, and of course, flowers! My three daughters helped me cut flowers from my garden and deliver and set up for a darling private floral party this afternoon for a sweet girl's birthday party. How much fun all the little party-goers had designing their very own arrangements in miniature Mason jars just their size. What little girl wouldn't love a birthday party like this!
The girls and I delivered arrangements to a very sweet couple's 50th wedding anniversary party today. I loved arranging flowers for their country themed party! The bright purple and yellow flowers were perfect to celebrate this happy occasion!
My sister, Jean, from Double Take Photography captured these radiant photos of a wedding I arranged flowers for last month. Pink is one of my favorite colors, so I was thrilled when the bride chose pink and white for her flower colors. The white and soft pink bouquets popped against the navy blue bridesmaids' dresses, and the the large arch arrangements made a spectacular focal point for the ceremony. It truly was a beautiful wedding!
My very talented sister, Jean, from Double Take Photography captured these gorgeous pictures of the country wedding I had the privilege of designing flowers for a few weeks ago. The cheerful yellow bouquets looked amazing with the turquoise and brown wedding colors!
I had a house full of gorgeous flowers and wonderful ladies this morning for my Mother's Day floral arranging class. Each of the guests designed fresh flowers in a beautiful teacup. All of the arrangements turned out so lovely and each one was unique. What a fun and memorable way to celebrate a very special Mother's Day!
Here are a few pictures from the Easter floral arranging class I held at my home last Saturday. The brightly colored silk flowers and sparkling eggs and berries looked very festive for Easter!
My spring topiary class was this afternoon, and I have to say this was probably my favorite class so far! The afternoon started out with Shayla serving some of her home-made chocolate chip cookies to the guests while I demostrated how to make the first topiary. I had a great group of ladies that were quick to learn and each and every topiary turned out beautiful! I hope you enjoy all of the pictures from this fun-filled day!
