Hello, and welcome to Blossoms by Georgia Sisson! I'm Georgia, owner and grower. My love for flowers started as a young girl when I would pick flowers from my grandmother's flower garden. There was nothing quite like picking a bunch of Grandma's fragrant lilacs or some of her beautiful garden roses. After I graduated high school, I knew I wanted to become a florist, so I went for floral training and eventually got a job at a local floral shop. That was over 20 years ago and now I have the joy of raising and arranging flowers that I grow myself. Blossoms by Georgia is a small local family farm and florist near Nyssa, Oregon that specializes in gorgeous seasonal blooms from April to October. Each and every plant is tended to by myself and my three lovely daughters. Together, we cultivate a beautiful assortment of colorful flowers that are sold to florists, brides, and farmers markets. I also teach a number of hands-on floral arranging classes that are held at my home through out the year so I can share my love of flowers with other people.
Note: While I try my best to use only flowers grown on my farm for floral arranging classes, arrangements, and weddings, there are times that I need to use flowers from a wholesaler if my flowers are out of season or not available.
